A poem by a proud nana, celebrating her granddaughter’s adventurous nature.

My four, year old, so bold and free
as she scoots down a zip line
that would challenge me.
Her face alight with delight
as her legs swing free.
and she shouts with glee
‘again nana, again.’
As I rush to and fro
from platform
to the end of the line,
catching her feet and pulling her back
to start once again
on the long slide.
We laugh together
as the minutes rush by
Nana and grandchild
full of the joy to be alive.
